Richmond Times-Dispatch writes:
The sprawling Fall Line Trail has been set in motion.
When completed, it will connect seven central Virginia localities from Ashland to Petersburg by a paved walking and biking path. Organizers say the $300-plus million project will not only be an outdoor athlete’s dream but also could revolutionize travel across the region.
When fully completed, the 43-mile Fall Line Trail will snake from Ashland, through Hanover and Henrico counties, Richmond, Chesterfield County and Colonial Heights before coming to its southern terminus on the Appomattox River in Petersburg.
